Welcome — my name is Lee Elkins, and I serve as the evangelist for the Hazel Street Church of Christ in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. I am a Christian, a husband, a father of four boys, a son, a brother, and a friend. I was born and raised in Pine Bluff, and I spent much of my childhood in this area.
In January 2011, I married my wonderful wife, Sarah. Later, in 2012, we moved from Pine Bluff to Monticello. There, I began my first local work as a gospel preacher. Then, in April 2022, I was invited to work with the McArthur Drive Church of Christ in Jacksonville. Finally, on July 6, 2025, I began my current work with the brethren at Hazel Street Church of Christ here in Pine Bluff.
My Work as an Evangelist
As an evangelist, my goal is simple: preach the Word of God with clarity, conviction, and love. Above all, I strive to teach the whole counsel of God and encourage others to follow Jesus according to the New Testament.
My work includes preaching, teaching Bible classes, and personal study. In addition, I spend time helping Christians grow in faith and service. Because the gospel changes lives, I seek to present it plainly and faithfully.
Moreover, I believe strong congregations grow through sound teaching, simple worship, and genuine fellowship. For that reason, I am thankful to labor alongside a church that values biblical authority and heartfelt devotion.
Serving in Pine Bluff
My family and I feel blessed to serve in Pine Bluff. We appreciate the kindness and encouragement shown by the Hazel Street congregation and the surrounding community.
It is our prayer to help others come to know Christ. Likewise, we hope to strengthen those who already believe. Ultimately, we want to see souls grow closer to God and remain faithful in their walk.
